Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Goodies for Bio Co. (“Goodies for Bio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use goodiesforbio.store (the “Site”) or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to visitors, customers and anyone who contacts us.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Goodies for Bio Co. is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our address is 2140 Springdale Rd, Suite 8, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003, United States. Privacy questions can be sent to orders@goodiesforbio.store and we aim to reply within one business day.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number where you supply one, the contents of your order, and any notes or delivery instructions you add. If you create an account we also store your login credentials in hashed form.

Payment information. Card and bank details are entered into, and processed by, our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. We receive only a confirmation of the outcome, the amount, and a limited reference such as the last four digits and card brand, which we use to reconcile and support your order.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site we collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view and the time and date of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in section 7.

Information from others. Our carriers provide delivery status and tracking events. Our payment provider provides authorisation results and, where relevant, chargeback or dispute notifications. We do not buy personal information from data brokers.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal information, and we ask that you do not send them to us in order notes or messages.

3. Why we use your information, and our legal basis

We use your information to:

  • Fulfil your order — take payment, pick and pack, arrange delivery, send order and dispatch confirmations, and handle returns and refunds. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • Provide customer support — respond to questions, investigate delivery problems, and resolve complaints. Necessary for our contract, or for our legitimate interest in running a responsive service.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse — verify orders, detect suspicious payment behaviour, and protect the Site. This is our legitimate interest in protecting our business and our customers, and in some cases a legal obligation.
  • Meet legal and tax obligations — keep accounting records and respond to lawful requests. Necessary for compliance with law.
  • Improve the Site — understand which pages and products are used, diagnose faults, and improve navigation and performance. Our legitimate interest, or your consent where analytics cookies require it.
  • Send marketing — only where you have opted in, or where you are an existing customer and we are offering similar products, and always with a way to opt out.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with organisations that are bound to protect it:

  • Payment providers, to authorise and settle your payment and to investigate disputes.
  • Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, to deliver your order — typically your name, delivery address, telephone number and email for tracking notifications.
  • Technology suppliers who host the Site, store our data, send our transactional email, and provide security and analytics services, acting on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where required.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets ever occurs, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, and we would notify you.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our suppliers may process information in the United States or elsewhere. Where information is transferred out of the country in which it was collected, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection, including using contractual safeguards with our suppliers.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order records, including the transaction details needed for accounting and tax, for seven years from the end of the relevant tax year. Customer support correspondence is kept for three years. Account records are kept for as long as your account is open, and for two years afterwards. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent and then retained on a suppression list so that we can honour your opt-out. Server and security logs are kept for up to twelve months. When a retention period ends we delete the information or irreversibly anonymise it.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies, which keep your basket, maintain your session, and support checkout and security. The Site cannot work without these.
  • Functional cookies, which remember preferences such as recently viewed items.
  • Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the Site is used in aggregate.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies and blocking new ones. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent checkout from functioning. Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you may withdraw it at any time.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep;
  • ask us to restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive certain information in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out; and
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — noting that we do neither.

To exercise any of these, email orders@goodiesforbio.store. We will ask for enough information to confirm your identity, and will respond within the period required by applicable law, normally within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to your local data protection or consumer protection authority.

9. Marketing and unsubscribing

Every marketing email we send contains an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional messages such as order confirmations, dispatch notices and refund confirmations, which we must send in order to perform our contract with you.

10. How we protect your information

The Site is served over encrypted connections. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, protected by individual accounts, and reviewed periodically. Payment card data is handled by our payment provider under its own security standards and does not reach our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and will notify you and any relevant regulator where we are required to do so following a breach.

11. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone. Automated checks may flag an order for fraud review, but a person reviews any decision to cancel or refuse an order.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or the law. The current version is always published on this page and is dated at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
