All-Weather Insulated Coat

A winter coat that accounts for the fact that a dog is a different shape from a person. The outer is a ripstop shell with a 5,000mm waterproof rating and taped seams, lined with a brushed fleece that does not mat down after washing. Coverage runs from the base of the neck to the base of the tail with a deep chest panel, because the underside is where a short-coated dog actually loses heat. Two adjustable girth straps and a fully adjustable neck mean it fits a deep-chested dog properly. A reinforced harness port sits under a storm flap. Reflective piping runs the full perimeter. Machine washable, tumble dry low.
